Project description

The circularity of the piece was used to its full. The walls became a skin with textures. The brick was able to incorporate the passage of time.
The exterior spaces and the roof were landscaped with plants from the area. Thyme and rosemary incorporated created the scent, along with orange blossom from orange trees.
Inside, the depth of the building meant we needed to bring light into the space, and nature represented by an ancient, centenary olive tree.
